Terms of service

The short version

• Pick a plan: 15 days for ₹149, 90 days for ₹499 or 365 days for ₹1,499. One payment buys that much TobaFree Support on WhatsApp, and it never renews on its own.
• You pay on our secure payment page, and your access is delivered on WhatsApp straight after. Nothing is shipped.
• The Coach gives behavioural support. It is not a doctor and not medical treatment.

These terms are an agreement between you and The Alpha MD Foundation ("we", "us"), [TO CONFIRM: legal form and registration number], registered at [TO CONFIRM: registered postal address]. They apply when you visit tobafree.org or buy access to TobaFree Support on WhatsApp ("the service"). By paying, you accept them.

The service

TobaFree Support on WhatsApp gives you a private Coach, a WhatsApp chatbot, that you can text whenever a craving hits, in English, Hinglish, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Gujarati or Kannada. It is built around the Five-Minute Rule: a craving lasts about five minutes, and the Coach helps you ride it out.

Not medical advice

The Coach gives behavioural support for quitting tobacco. It is not a doctor, does not diagnose or treat any condition and does not prescribe medicines, including nicotine replacement. It does not replace advice from a qualified health professional. Talk to a doctor before you stop or start any medicine, and if you are pregnant or have a heart, lung or mental health condition.

In an emergency, call 112. For free help to quit, you can also call India's national tobacco quitline on 1800-112-356.

Who can buy

You must be [TO CONFIRM: minimum age, 18 suggested] or older and able to enter a binding contract under Indian law. Access is personal to you and to the WhatsApp number you message the Coach from.

Price and payment

You choose one of three plans: 15 days for ₹149, 90 days for ₹499 or 365 days for ₹1,499, each paid once in Indian rupees. The Alpha MD Foundation issues your receipt.

Delivery

The service is digital and is delivered on WhatsApp. No physical goods are shipped and there are no shipping charges. As soon as your payment is confirmed, the payment page takes you to the Coach on WhatsApp (+91 97697 96356). Send your first message to start. Your plan's access runs from [TO CONFIRM: when access starts, e.g. the payment date or your first message to the Coach].

If you have paid but cannot reach the Coach, write to support@tobafree.org with your payment reference and we will sort it out.

Using the service fairly

Use the Coach for your own quitting. Do not share or resell your access, abuse or try to break the Coach, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that is misused, and we will tell you why.

Availability

The Coach is open 24 × 7, but it runs on WhatsApp and the internet, which we do not control. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted. If an outage on our side stops you using the service for a long period, write to us and we will extend your access or refund you under our cancellation and refund policy.

No promise of a result

Quitting is yours to do. We do not promise that you will quit, or quit by a particular date.

Our content

The TobaFree name, logo, website, Guides and Coach scripts belong to The Alpha MD Foundation. You may read and share them for personal, non-commercial use.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything to do with the service is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your data

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy.

Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. If something goes wrong, contact us first at support@tobafree.org and we will try to resolve it within [TO CONFIRM: response time in days]. If we cannot, the courts at [TO CONFIRM: city for jurisdiction] have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version on this page on the day you pay applies to that payment.
